Briquettes

I have been experimenting with materials, looking at the emotional side of depression and representing it in a physical object. These briquettes contain newspapers, letters, booklets and notes from throughout my pregnancy and counselling sessions. I like how compressed they are, not coming apart, created my a force of weight. These represent my initial post pregnancy state, I kept to myself and didn't let anything out, all information and feelings were compressed within me.
