This series of images shows the importance of several objects. This is illustrated by how they are presented, isolated on a mundane chair, with a very plain background. items within the images include my tshirt that I wore when I was in labour and gave birth to my little boy, one of his vests, a box including his hospital tags, umbilical cord clip, article from the newspaper and first outfit. They appear to be quit negative images, this reflects my post natal depression, and how having a baby has caused it.
If I was to take this work into development, I would possibly create an installation. This would give a very different outlook on the objects. However, there is a risk of items going missing or being damaged, this I want to avoid at all costs. I plan to print some of these images on a translucent fabric, in order to enhance the ghost like figures in the images.
